Credit card transactions are handled by a third-party banking institutions and processing agents. They will use your Personal Information to verify and authorize credit card transactions.
When collecting credit card information for online purchases, your Personal Information will be sent using a secured server that encrypts your information in transit to prevent someone from intercepting it and misusing it. Your account information is kept on a secure server. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. However, if you send any Personal Information to us via email this could be intercepted and used in an unauthorized manner.
Your information will also be protected offline. Computers and servers where your Personal Information is stored are kept in a secure location. Further, only employees who need to access your Personal Information for their specific job role will be able to do so.
